About Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep", is a guided meditation tradition that aims to create a state of consciousness between alertness and sleep in order to quiet the mind and relax.
It includes components like body scans, guided imagery, visualization, breath awareness, and intention setting as the practitioner embarks on a journey through the layers of one's self.
Yoga Nidra has numerous mental, physical and emotional benefits.
Some of which include improved quality of sleep, reduced stress and anxiety, headache relief, increased focus and resilience, improved digestion, blood pressure, immune function, and blood sugar, enhanced cognitive functioning, and reduced insomnia.

She incorporates experiences as a Pre-K through adult classroom educator to create a non-judgmental space for students to thrive, grow, and excel through yoga and meditation.
